USF TGH Family Medicine Residency
Our Residents
Meet the resident physicians of the USF TGH Family Medicine Residency.
They are awesome.

I was drawn to USF TGH Family Medicine for the opportunity to train in a new and growing program, the resources and flexibility of a large academic institution, and the ability to further develop my interests in leadership, and a shared commitment to advocacy and serving underserved community.
You can usually find me at church, unwinding at home with Netflix, catching up with family, or engaging in volunteer work outside of medicine.

The Tampa area has been home to me and my family for the last 21 years. We love the gorgeous location and all of the many activities living in this area allows us to do. The program is in a highly respected academic hospital that provides access to experts and patient complexity that is not found in other locations. Our faculty epitomize the values that I prioritize and feel like family not only to the residents and staff, but also to their patients.
When I am not working, I am busy with my three children and their activities. As a family, we enjoy camping and thrifting for fun treasures. My husband and I enjoy urban hiking while exploring new cities. I enjoy sewing and doing home improvement projects in the rare moments I have to myself.

USF has given me the opportunity to continue serving the community that has played such an important role in shaping who I am, while gaining exposure to a wide range of complex cases that comes with training at a center like Tampa General Hospital.
I love spending time with family and being on the water whenever possible.

I am passionate about caring for a culturally and economically diverse population, and the opportunity to do that while receiving a strong and supportive training made it clear that USF was the perfect place for my training.
I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, dancing, and spending time with my corgi.

As a USF medical student, I saw firsthand the dedication that the faculty had to teaching. I also saw how many opportunities there were for sports medicine and community outreach, two of my passions in medicine. Finding people this great in a city this beautiful is rare, so why would I leave?
I love spending time with my family, my church, playing golf, football, basketball, deep-sea fishing, boating, cooking, traveling, content creation, and thrifting!

I grew up in Orlando and after pursing my education in Pennsylvania and Alabama I am so excited to be back in Florida. My goal is to always provide compassionate and patient-centered care to our vibrant Tampa community.
You can find me training for my next race, reading at the beach, or watching sports with my family. Go Bucs!

USF’s academic–community hybrid model offers the ideal training to prepare me for full-spectrum Family Medicine, and the opportunity to do so in my hometown makes it especially meaningful.
I enjoy staying active, following basketball, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

I am originally from West Palm Beach, so staying in Florida has always been important to me. Tampa really stood out for its diverse patient population and training environment. I’m excited to see where my career takes me in Tampa.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy staying active and am really into fitness. I also play piano which has been a big creative outlet for me, and I value spending quality time with people close to me.

I attended USF for both my undergraduate and medical school educations, and am excited to continue to train and serve the community here.
I enjoy training as a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt and coach.

USF stood out to me because of its strong sense of community, commitment to academic excellence, and dedication to serving a diverse patient population. After rotating with the program and meeting the residents and faculty, I knew it was the ideal place for me to grow into the kind of community-centered family physician I aspire to be.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and our mini dachshund, trying new restaurants, staying active with fitness, playing basketball, golfing, and giving back through community involvement and mentorship.
